Change of management at the ORWO Net GmbH

On March 1, 2022, there will be a change in the management of the photo service providers ORWO Net. After more than seven years, Peter Warns (CEO, 61) hands over the operational business and will officiate as a member of the company’s advisory board. Led by Peter Warns, ORWO Net has invested a lot and significantly extended its product range, improved the quality of products and software and pushed ahead its strategic B2B business. In the advisory board, Warns will support the company with further strategic development. As managing director he is succeeded by Björn Schwarzbach (CCO, 38), who has already been employed by the compance since 2017. Now he strengthens the company’s leadership alongside Claudia Snehotta (CFO, 55). In addition to that, a new position was created with Sönke Hinrichsen (CSO, 55) to further expand the company's sales force.

With this change in the advisory board, Peter Warns leads the way for a new and rejuvenated managing director duo, with new responsibilities: The previous managing director and CFO Claudia Snehotta (Finance, Controlling, HR, Purchasing) expands her responsibilities with the areas of sales and marketing. Björn Schwarzbach, has held management positions in the company since 2017 and has been responsible for IT, software development and production as COO since April 2021. In addition to that, he will be appointed to the management team from the second quarter of this year.
