ORWO Net GmbH had the special honor of welcoming the Minister President of Saxony-Anhalt, Dr. Reiner Haseloff, to its production facilities this week. This momentous visit reflects not only the relevance of our recent corporate developments, but also the importance ORWO Net has for the economic landscape of Saxony-Anhalt.
In addition to Dr. Haseloff, Bitterfeld-Wolfen's mayor Armin Schenk and numerous representatives of the press also took part in the visit. The tour of our facilities provided an opportunity to present our latest innovations, particularly in the field of automation, and to discuss the positive response to our recent brand fusion.
During the tour through our production facilities, Dr. Haseloff emphasized the importance of innovative medium-sized companies such as ORWO Net for the economic development and growth of Saxony-Anhalt. He praised the courageous work of principal shareholder Dr. Gerhard Köhler during the establishment of the company. He also emphasized the forward-looking measures taken by the company in view of the shortage of skilled workers. Dr. Haseloff highlighted how these initiatives have helped position Saxony-Anhalt as a major player on the economic map.
Mayor Armin Schenk also spoke positively about the role of ORWO Net in Bitterfeld-Wolfen and underlined the importance of the traditional ORWO brand for the residents.
